An exclusive atmos x Nike Air Max 1 “Animal Pack 3.0” Pack debuted at atmos locations in Japan this past weekend, and one of the featured styles is bold “Tiger” edition. The runner’s exotic makeup is defined by tiger stripes gracing its entire upper composed of plush pony hair, while pops of blue utilized for the branded areas and portion of the outsole provide a complementing contrast to its overall theme. Finally, a white midsole and black accents all over round out the look.
For those of you located in the USA, look for the atmos x Nike Air Max 1 Tiger (Animal Pack 3.0) at ComplexCon Chicago from July 20 to 22. A potential wider release may be on the horizon.
In addition to the “Leopard” and “Tiger” variations, the exclusive atmos x Nike Air Max 1 “Animal Pack 3.0” Pack also includes this “Cow” edition. Pops of green implemented on the branded areas and frontal portion of the outsole add a touch of vibrancy, while a white midsole and black rubber outsole round out the look.

Nike is giving the classic Nike Air Max 1 a brand new look by way of flipped tongues. Lost? Let me explain.
Shown above, the Nike Air Max 1 comes in your choice of Ghost/White-Mystic Navy or White/Black-Air Max 1 Wolf Grey. Leather, suede and a grid-like mesh make up the construction of both pairs. What really helps the sneakers stand out is the aforementioned tongue that is placed on the shoe inside out. In other words, the sizing tag, exposed stitching and the inside of the tongue is actually placed on the outside of the shoe. As far of the rest of the shoe goes, it remains the same, aka, nothing has been flipped.
Get a good look at both colorways above and look for both at select retailers and Nike.com today for the retail price of $110.
atmos released their Nike Air Max 1 DLX Animal 3.0 Pack on July 13th online and at their Japan locations. It goes without saying that the majority of us (in the states), were not able to get a pair. That said, we will all have a second chance at scooping a some pairs as they’re not being reported to drop once more at ComplexCon Chicago.
The atmos x Nike Air Max 1 Animal Pack 3.0 includes three different Air Max 1s done in your choice of Tiger, Leopard or Cow animal print. Unlike last year’s atmos x Air Max 1 Animal, each of these pair opts for only one print throughout the pony hair uppers. The only means of contrast on the upper is found by way of the Air Max 1 Blue ( Air Max 1 Tiger), Air Max 1 Orange ( Air Max 1 Leopard) and Air Max 1 Green ( Air Max 1 Cow) Swoosh/Nike branding hits noted on the side panels and heel. Black laces, Black lining, a White midsole and a tri-colored outsole complete the look.
Look for the Nike Air Max 1 DLX Animal 3.0 Pack to release once more at ComplexCon Chicago from July 20th to 22nd. A potential wider stateside release has yet to be announced so stay tuned for that.

With Air Max Day being right around the corner, these atmos-inspired Air Max 1 customs by Malcolm Garret really caught our attention.
Influenced by the iconic Nike Air Max 1 Atmos Elephant that last dropped in 2017, Malcolm takes it up a notch by giving you the liberty to switch the style up a bit. The image above show that the shoe also comes with a handful of removable Swooshes done in an array of colors so you can switch up the look however you please. A mismatched Swoosh motif perhaps? The rest of the shoe consists of a White, Air Max 1 Black and Air Max 1 Grey color scheme done on the mesh and leather upper. A Air Max 1 White midsole and Gum outsole complete the look.
